Traditional South Indian Dresses....


Kids used to wear "Pattu Paavaadai"



Teenage used to wear "Half Saree"



Adults used to wear "Saree"



This is "Pattu Sarees" which we wear during functions.

Respected south Indian costumes. Now most of the kids like to wear modern dress, rarely could see them in pattu paavaadai, those were only following in rural places.

Sarees are very popular here in our place also...lovely viewing the South-Indian style, which is very nice and the photos are also beautiful, with the kids looking very pretty in the sarees as also the Women....Wonderful post!

I think now in rural too is changing to modern costumes. But whatever the modern dresses, our traditional dresses will have a separate respect...
