It's raining is San Francisco today. Traffic lights reflect off the dark streets, and people walk with shoulders huddled, as if protecting their chins from the world. It's only water, I think, as I step awkwardly around the puddled lake at the bottom of the hill. Umbrellas never protect the feet.
